Melissa Naylor

Melissa was born and raised on a dairy farm in Southwest Missouri but now calls New Jersey home. Although her time is spent more on the football fields watching her kids play sports, she never forgets the work ethic and the focus on faith and family that growing up on a farm has taught her. Melissa is very passionate about health and fitness – she spent a few years as a personal trainer and even started her own Strong Mom weightlifting class! She enjoys hiking, working out with her early morning bootcamp crew and going for runs or bike rides with her husband. Melissa also loves her dog and cat and may spend as much time talking about them as she does her own children!

Melissa has worked in the securities industry in a variety of roles for over 20 years. She feels that she is not only there to provide investment advice but also to provide advice through the financial planning process. All while educating her clients along the way.

Her hope is that with each client she works with, they walk away from the conversation feeling that they have someone to help walk beside them on their financial journey.

Melissa married her college sweetheart and together they have moved across the country for his job over the last 20 years. From Indiana to Maryland, to Texas and Michigan, Kentucky to Arizona and now to New Jersey.

They have 3 children who keep them busy outside of work with their many sports and activities.

Moving around has definitely had its challenges but they have learned the importance of focusing on the real things in life that matter and finding joy no matter where you live, where you are working or who you are with. Keeping faith and family at the forefront of all that they do.

The family dog, Ryder, is a Rhodesian Ridgeback Vizsla mix and prefers to be a lap dog more than a bird dog.

Melissa and her family spend most evenings and weekends on a football, baseball or lacrosse field. There is no greater joy than family time and making memories together even if that means at the ball fields.
